MEL Pilot for US Air Force Contract in FloridaCarolina Turbine Support is currently hiring MEL pilots to support our US Air Force Flying contract. The current contract has been held in excess of 20 years, and we are proud to have maintained a 100% mission success rate throughout this entire contract period.
The contract requires pilots with ex-military fighter experience. Our MU-2 twin turboprop aircraft are operated out of Tyndall Air Force Base on daily missions to support the US Air Force Air Battle Manager program in air-to-air and air-to-ground live simulated combat missions. We also support the US Air Force Drone program under the Weapons Systems Evaluation program
Tyndall Air Force Base is located outside of Panama City, Florida, a very desirable coastal location in the Florida panhandle. The area boasts a nearly ideal climate with an annual average temperature of 68.8 degrees, attractive housing opportunities (median home cost of $162,000), year-round water sports, burgeoning visual and performing arts scene in a pleasing small-town environment for raising a family.
