Twin Commander STC
STC UPDATE: On July 19, 2017 MT-Propeller received the FAA STC SA03933NY for the installation of the five-blade MTV-27 Propeller on the Twin Commander 690/695. The STC features shorter take off distance by approx. 10%, enhanced cruise performance and a significant inside and outside noise reduction. TBO is at 3500 or 6 years and will soon be increased to 4000 or 6 years. Download brochure for more informatiion on the Quiet Fan Jet Propeller Series for the Twin Commander aircraft.
Full Retail price for a pair of 5-bladed, constant speed propellers with feathering and nickel leading edges is $123,590.00 in exchange* for the existing propellers and spinner assemby. Freight from Germany and Installation are additional.
*There is a $5,000 missing core fee for each prop not returned ($10,000 per aircraft).

STC UPDATE: On February 24, 2017 the Chicago Aircraft Certification Office granted field approval for the installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller on the Twin Commander used for the STC field testing in Aiken, SC.
STC UPDATE: On January 27, 2017, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) issued Supplemental Type Certifcate 100608265 to certify installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller, Model MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFR(...) on the Twin Commander. The specifics are as follows:
